Gold Medal Awards Night
27/09/2019
We were delighted to be nominated in the category of Four Star Hotel at Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny on Tuesday last, September 24th just seven months after opening following a refurbishment and redesign of the ground floor of the hotel. John and Brid O’Meara co-owners and who also manage the property were present at the prestigious event and were delighted with the hotels nomination in their first year. Clare and in particular West Clare had an incredibly strong presence on the evening with Moy House Lahinch, Spanish Point House, Red Cliff Lodge in Spanish Point and The Armada hotel who picked up a two awards as well as being honoured with an overall supreme award on the evening. Clare is certainly well on the map with incredible hospitality and high standards.

We have some very exciting news to share. We have been very bust the past few weeks putting the finishing touches on the next chapter of our refurbishment.
Introducing Breakers Café, a seasonal casual dining deli counter café experience which serves a selection of breads, freshly baked items and homemade desserts along with the very popular 'Badger & Dodo' Coffee and the delicious 'Glenown' Full Dairy Ice Cream - a massive hit with the kids and the grown ups too.
Ideal for coffee mornings, work treats, casual get-togethers or a quick break from the beach to re-fuel.
We look forward to welcoming you.
